Borate Fusion Fluxes

Range of Fluxes

The fusion with a molten borate flux is  the most performing techniques of preparing a powder sample. This method of sample preparation can be employed for a wide range of samples for analysis by X-ray fluorescence (XRF), atomic absorption (AA), inductively coupled plasma (ICP) and other analytical techniques. Because the flux is the sample solvent, the choice of this one is crucial in order to obtain a quality analysis.

Our 20 years expertise in the fusion techniques has led to improvements from which you can benefit. We offer to the analyst pre fused borate fluxes with the following properties:

  • Fused, white vitreous powder (particles)

  • Perfect homogeneity

  • Non dusty

  • Free flowing

  • Controlled particle size distribution

  • High density: 1,2—1,4g/cm3

  • Low loss of ignition: < 0,05% typical

  • Highly pure qualities: > 99,98%

  • Analytical guarantee

  • All batches are similar (no need to re-calibrate the instrument)

  • Reserved production batches

We also supply fluxes with integrated, the non wetting agent (NWA) or/and the oxidizer
